Continental SW48N8 Description

The Continental SW48N8 sandwich/salad prep table features a removable interior tub beneath the pans, simplifying cleaning and ensuring a sanitary workspace. Its 48-inch width and two-section design include (8) 1/6-size recessed pans, each 4 inches deep, offering organized storage for fresh ingredients. The 12-inch-deep, full-length nylon cutting board provides a reliable workspace for assembling sandwiches and salads. Built with stainless steel front, top, and end panels, and an aluminum interior, the unit is designed to withstand the demands of commercial kitchens. Field-rehingeable, self-closing doors with magnetic snap-in Santoprene™ gaskets ensure a secure seal to maintain cold air.

The refrigerated base of the Continental SW48N8 sandwich/salad prep table includes heavy-duty epoxy-coated steel shelves, providing additional storage for bulk ingredients or backup supplies. Its 2-inch non-CFC polyurethane foam insulation minimizes heat transfer to improve energy efficiency. Additional features include an insulated lid for temperature retention, an off-cycle defrost system to prevent ice buildup, and 5-inch casters that support smooth mobility for cleaning or repositioning. A unique airflow distribution system maintains pan temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit, preserving ingredient freshness during busy service hours. The completely enclosed, removable case back enhances access during servicing.
