Temperatures in the Excellence Industries VB-2HC ice cream freezer range from -15 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit, maintained by refrigerant that runs through lines in the walls of the freezer. Through this process, the refrigerant efficiently removes heat from the cabinet. This system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is better for the environment than traditional refrigerants.
