Globe GIR18 Description
The Globe GIR18 commercial induction cooktop fits on the countertop and doesn’t need to be built into a drop-in cutout. It uses precise, energy-efficient induction technology instead of traditional electric or gas cooking. This type of cooking utilizes a dense copper coil to create a magnetic field over the cooking surface. When an induction-ready pan is placed on the surface, the electrons will move rapidly, generating friction for cooking.
The controls on this Globe GIR18 countertop induction cooktop are operated by touch and have a four-digit LED display screen. Operators can set the temperature between 140 and 460 degrees Fahrenheit with seven power level options. The 180-minute timer tracks the cooking process to prevent undercooking or overcooking, and an error code alert display helps users diagnose issues if they arise.
