To hold cheesecakes, pies, mousses, and cakes at temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit, the True TGM-R-48-SC/SC-B-W glass merchandiser is built with a self-contained refrigeration system that operates with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. As inventory changes, users can adjust the interior temperature using the electronic temperature control, and to preserve generated temperatures, high-density polyurethane insulation is built into the cabinet. The refrigeration system’s condenser fan motors reverse during defrost off cycles to remove dirt, dust, and debris from the condenser coil for an enhanced performance. So operators can access the condensing out for cleaning and maintenance, it can be slid out, and the evaporator is coated with epoxy for corrosion resistance.

The bakery case’s interior features three shelving tiers comprised of six adjustable, heavy-duty PVC-coated wire cantilever shelves. Each shelf can support 150 pounds, and for flexibility, the cabinet can support four 18-inch-long by 26-inch-wide display pans, two 9-inch-long by 26-inch-wide display pans, and six 12-inch-long by 18-inch-wide display pans (sold separately). The shelves and interior both feature a white powder coating to establish a neutral background against displayed products. While the curved tempered glass front maximizes interior visibility, LED lighting illuminates the case to enhance presentation.

The TGM-R-48-SC/SC-B-W dessert case is a full-service unit, meaning employees must retrieve purchases from the back of the unit. Its two rear sliding glass doors are built with 12-inch-long aluminum handles to ease opening and closing when loading or removing inventory. To tie into common bakery themes, this 48¹⁄₄-inch-wide by 39-inch-deep by 49¹⁄₈-inch-tall unit sports a black powder-coated rounded front and back, solid wood sides with aluminum covers, and front panels. For added strength, it’s built with a welded, corrosion-resistant black powder-coated steel frame rail.
