True   60″ TSSU Series Mega Top Sandwich/Salad Prep Table w/ Refrigerated Base, 115v

This True TSSU-60-12M-B-HC mega-top prep table is 60 inches wide and has a cutout with room for 12 sixth-size food pans on the left side of the countertop. The included food pans are constructed of break-resistant, clear polycarbonate, and an insulated hood and lid positioned over the pans keeps ingredients cool and reduces condensation. Because the right side of the table is open, it can hold additional sauces, supplies, and equipment, while the front hosts a cutting board for preparing salads and sandwiches. Removable for cleaning, the cutting board has a sanitary, polyethylene construction.

The cabinet base is accessible through two swing doors with sturdy handles that jut inward and do not disturb employees working on the top. To keep cold air inside, the doors have a self-closing design, and their stay-open feature keeps them open when loading and unloading product. Items can be placed on the stainless steel floor and on four PVC-coated shelves. Accommodating various items, these shelves are adjustable in 12-inch increments.

To refrigerate the cabinet interior and top cutout, the True TSSU-60-12M-B-HC prep table moves R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant through its capillary tubes. Cold air is slowly pushed through the cabinet by a large fan, keeping contents cooled at a set temperature from 33 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit that is determined by the user. For cold-air retention, the cabinet is filled with polyurethane insulation, and magnetic gaskets seal the doors.

The fan motor in this unit operates in reverse for 20 seconds each time the compressor starts up, blowing excess dust from the condensing coil. Keeping the condensing coil clean improves the unit’s efficiency to provide better product temperatures. Employees should perform preventative maintenance frequently for best results.
