To access products, the left-hinged door has a 12-inch, permanent handle while cold air is held inside the cabinet with magnetic gaskets.

The capillary tube system controls the flow of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which maintains an ideal temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit for storing frozen food and ice cream. Resisting corrosion, the evaporator is epoxy coated while condenser and evaporator fan motors move a consistent volume of air, ensuring the entire unit is cooled evenly. Its defrost system is automatic, turning on at a designated time, and the True TUC-24F-HC undercounter freezer has a rear-accessible condensing unit.

Each time the compressor turns on, the condensing fan motor directs air in an opposite direction to help remove buildup from the condensing coil’s surface.
