The True TUC-27-HC undercounter refrigerator measures 35¹⁵⁄₁₆ inches in height, so it can be placed underneath a counter. It has two adjustable shelves constructed of PVC-coated, heavy-duty wire, along with chrome-plated shelf clips for each shelf. Supporting pilasters enable shelves to be adjusted in ¹⁄₂-inch increments, and the pilasters are made of the same material as the cabinet interior, which is covered with an attractive clear-coated aluminum. Its stainless steel floor has coved corners that help prevent debris buildup, while the door swings within cabinet dimensions and stays open at a 90-degree angle. Simplifying cleaning, the one-piece door gasket is removable.

The True TUC-27-HC undercounter refrigerator has a capillary tubes refrigeration system and uses R290 refrigerant and guided airflow to maintain consistent interior temperatures. Its internal temperature is adjustable from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and when the condensing coils need cleaning or servicing, they can be accessed from the back of the unit.

When the compressor cycles on, its fan motor directs air in a reverse direction for 20 seconds. This blows away and dirt or debris that may have settled on the condenser coil, ensuring it remains clean and functioning properly. This feature, when combined with routine preventive maintenance, lengthens the unit’s lifespan and reduces energy consumption.
