The True TUC-27D-2-HC~SPEC1 Spec Series® undercounter refrigerator has a high-capacity refrigeration system that maintains cabinet temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, which the operator can set and adjust within this range. Designed for efficiency, the evaporator and condenser fan motors are electronically commutated, moving consistent volumes of air, producing little heat, and reducing energy consumption. Because the unit uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, it is more environmentally friendly than systems that use traditional refrigerants.

To blow dust and debris off the condenser coil, the compressor’s fan motor runs in reverse for 20 seconds each time the compressor cycles on. This self-cleaning function helps reduce energy consumption and improve performance. It does not replace routine preventive maintenance, however, which is still necessary to keep the unit running efficiently.

For convenient product storage, this refrigerator has two sliding drawers, and each drawer can hold a 12-inch by 20-inch by 6-inch food pan, which are not included with this unit. This True TUC-27D-2-HC~SPEC1 two-drawer undercounter refrigerator has a condenser that slides out from the back for efficient maintenance access.
