To maintain a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit uses R290 hydrocarbon in its capillary tube system.

The compressor’s fan motor utilizes a self-cleaning feature that results in optimized performance and reduced energy consumption. Each time it starts up, the fan directs air in reverse to blow buildup off the condensing coil. Maintaining a clean condensing coil lengthens the unit’s lifespan, but it shouldn’t function as a replacement for routine preventive maintenance.
