Using a capillary tube system and R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, the True TWT-44-HC~SPEC1 Spec Series® worktop refrigerator is environmentally friendly. Its energy-efficient refrigeration system provides uniform temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit and uses electronically commutated fan motors that operate with minimal heat, little energy, and great reliability. The temperature is controlled using the digital display and the condensing unit is behind the front grille for accessibility. The stainless steel cabinet has coved interior corners to speed up cleaning. The walls contain dense polyurethane insulation to block out heat. This unit’s 5-inch stem castors have a locking front set.

Though it shouldn’t function as a substitute for regular preventive maintenance, the fan compressor’s self-cleaning feature helps optimize performance and lengthen the unit’s lifespan. Each time it starts up, the compressor’s fan motor reverses for period of 20 seconds to blow away dirt and buildup that’s settled on the condensing coil.

The True TWT-44-HC~SPEC1 worktop refrigerator has a lockable, positive-seal door that swings within the cabinet dimensions. The door has 20-gauge thickness and includes a durable, all-metal handle. Its magnetic gaskets can be removed without tools for swift cleaning. The two shelves are made of PVC-coated wire and are adjustable to ¹⁄₂-inch increments for storage flexibility. Each shelf comes with four chrome-plated clips and rests on support pilasters that are made of stainless steel to match the cabinet interior. This unit is pre-wired at the factory and ready for final connection upon delivery.
