Able to hold temperatures at -10 degrees Fahrenheit, the True TWT-44F-HC worktop freezer is ideal for frozen foods. The balanced, oversized refrigeration system uses guided airflow and electronically commutated fan motors to provide uniform temperatures without making much heat or using much energy. The freezer uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and an automatic, time-initiated, time-terminated defrost system. Buildup is removed from the condensing coil with a 20-second reversal mechanism. At the start of each cycle, the compressor fan motor runs in reverse to blow away any dirt or dust that’s settled on the coil. This feature helps optimize performance, lower energy consumption, and lengthen the lifespan of the unit. For best results, preventative maintenance should still be performed regularly.

Two PVC-coated, wire shelves are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments and include four chrome-plated clips apiece. The True TWT-44F-HC worktop freezer has a positive-seal door, which swings within cabinet dimensions. Its 12-inch-long, recessed handle is foamed in place with a sheet metal interlock to ensure permanent attachment. Magnetic door gaskets are made from one piece, so they can be remove and cleaned efficiently. This stainless steel unit features a GalFan-coated, steel back designed to protect the unit from corrosion, and the interior is lined with clear-coated aluminum for durability. The interior is foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation and features coved corners. The backsplash prevents debris from slipping off the top and underneath the unit. This freezer has a work surface height of 36 inches and lockable, 5-inch stem castors.
