Made for commercial use, the True TWT-48D-2-HC worktop refrigerator has a corrosion-resistant, GalFan-coated, steel back and stainless steel sides, front, and top. Its interior is lined in clear-coated aluminum and has coved corners to simplify cleaning. The backsplash of the worktop is made from the same piece as the top to prevent food particles from getting stuck in seams. The cabinet, door, and drawers are insulated with high-density, polyurethane foam, which has zero ozone depletion and zero global warming potential. The unit has stem castors with 5-inch diameters that bring the unit to a standard working height of 36 inches. The two drawers feature slides and rollers that can be removed without tools. Each can accommodate one full-size food storage box or one third-size and one half-size pan. The positive-seal door self-closes and moves within the cabinet dimensions. For loading product, the door can also stay open at a 90-degree angle. The drawers and door are each fitted with a permanently attached, 12-inch-long, recessed handle.

The True TWT-48D-2-HC worktop refrigerator has two heavy-duty, PVC-coated, wire shelves with four chrome-plated clips each. These shelves are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments for customizing the storage space. Its oversized, factory-balanced refrigeration system uses guided airflow for uniform cooling and has a temperature holding range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The condensing unit is located conveniently in the back of the cabinet for smooth maintenance access. The capillary tube system is self-contained and uses eco-friendly, R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.

Producing consistent air volumes, the electronically commutated fan motors operate with minimal energy and the evaporator is epoxy coated to reduce the risk of corrosion. To remove buildup from the condensing coil, the compressor’s fan motor reverses for 20 seconds when it cycles on. This blows away any dust or debris that’s settled on the coil, enabling it to cool with less energy. For best results, this feature should function in tandem with routine preventive maintenance.
