To support environmental efforts, the True TWT-67F-HC~SPEC1 Spec Series® worktop freezer uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which has zero ozone depletion potential and three global warming potential. Able to hold temperatures at -10 degrees Fahrenheit, the freezer has a large condenser, a high-horsepower compressor, and an extra-large evaporator coil. Its energy-efficient fan motors are reliable and provide consistent airflow with little heat. Freezer temperatures are controlled through a time-initiated, time-terminated automatic defrost system and a digital display.

While it shouldn’t be used as a substitute for routine preventive maintenance, the fan compressor’s self-cleaning function helps improve performance and lengthen the unit’s lifespan. At the beginning of each cycle, the motor directs air in reverse for a period of 20 seconds; this blows away any buildup that’s settled on the condensing coil since the last cycle.

Made of stainless steel, the backsplash and top are constructed as one so that food cannot slide between them. The cabinet and doors are insulated with high-density polyurethane. Featuring a lockable front set, the stem castors measure 5 inches diameter, bringing the work surface height to a standard 36 inches.

The True TWT-67F-HC~SPEC1 worktop freezer has two positive-seal doors that swing within the cabinet’s dimensions and feature sturdy all-metal handles. To support toolless disassembly when cleaning, the lockable doors have one-piece magnetic gaskets. To enhance its appearance, the front of the doors is flush with the front of the countertop. This freezer has four heavy-duty, PVC-coated wire shelves adjustable on ¹⁄₂-inch increments. The shelves include four chrome-plated clips each, and the support pilasters are made of stainless steel to match the cabinet interior.
