To ensure clean ice is consistently produced, the Hoshizaki F-1002MWJ flake ice machine head performs a two-second flush cycle every hour to remove sediment. H-GUARD Plus antimicrobial agent coats the ice head to slow the growth of bacteria, prolonging the time needed between cleanings. This water-cooled unit makes 955 pounds of ice when it’s operating at peak conditions, but if room temperatures exceed a range of 70 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, it will produce 833 pounds.

The Hoshizaki F-1002MWJ flake ice machine head has a self-contained condenser to streamline installation and reduce the risk of cross contamination. It uses R404A refrigerant to produce ice and keep it cold. To ensure the unit doesn’t corrode when operating in wet conditions, it has a rust-resistant and durable stainless steel finish. An ice bin or dispenser must be purchased separately for use with this machine.
