The machine’s compressor operates with R-404A refrigerant, and the condenser is air cooled. The included air filter is removable for cleaning, while the Advanced CleanCycle24™ design performs a 2-second flush cycle every hour. The Hoshizaki F-1501MAJ/B-900SF/HS ice machine is attached to a 900-pound storage bin and comes with an ice scoop for streamlined production. To prevent overflowing, the bin’s infrared control shuts off the compressor to stop ice production. The door’s front-opening, top-hinged design provides full interior access for gathering ice, and to help maintain sanitation between regular cleanings, the bin has a polyethylene liner and H-GUARD antimicrobial protection. To reduce the rate at which ice melts, this bin is insulated with polyurethane foam.
