This Hoshizaki KM-1601MRJZ full-cube ice machine head’s exterior is constructed of stainless steel for resistance to rust and corrosion and the durability needed to withstand high-volume use over time. Its interior is equipped with an antimicrobial agent that prevents the growth of mildew and mold, and it also features an EverCheck™ alert system that informs users when the internal temperature varies too widely.

The Hoshizaki KM-1601MRJZ full-cube ice machine head is air cooled remotely, so it requires a remote condenser to properly operate; this condenser must be purchased separately. The machine also requires a bin or dispenser to catch produced ice, both of which are sold separately. It can make 1,594 pounds of ice per day when the incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit and the ambient temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
