The Hoshizaki KM-1601SAJ crescent cube ice machine head is easy to service and clean since the panels are removable. This type of ice is perfect for water, iced tea, soda, and a variety of other beverages, and measures 1¹⁄₈ inches wide by ¹⁄₂ inches deep by 1¹⁄₂ inches tall. Crescent cube ice melts more slowly than other ice shapes and can also be used for bagging or dispensing. The stainless steel exterior resists scratches and dents to withstand commercial use, and the stainless steel evaporator resists corrosion that can be caused by water exposure.

CycleSaver™ technology freezes ice on both sides of the evaporator, so the Hoshizaki KM-1601SAJ crescent cube ice machine head needs fewer cycles to produce as much ice as competing units. A built-in antimicrobial agent called H-Guard Plus™ helps operators keep the machine clean by slowing the growth of microbes and bacteria. With the EverCheck™ feature, operators are notified to operating issues by an audible alarm.
