Ice-O-Matic GEM0450W Description
The Ice-O-Matic GEM0450W ice machine head is optimal for convenience stores, restaurants, and healthcare operations, and it provides guests with chewable, soft Pearl Ice®. When operating in an ideal temperature range, the machine can produce as much as 508 pounds of ice per 24 hours. This unit’s water-cooled condenser is enclosed within the machine. To remove heat, the condenser pumps cool water near the condenser coils.
To provide consistent operation, the Ice-O-Matic GEM0450W ice maker head is designed with SystemSafe—a system that monitors the gearbox’s workload and protects the unit from costly damage. The water sensor prevents failure from low-water conditions, and for added durability, the auger and evaporator are made of stainless steel. This piece of equipment measures 21 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 27 inches tall.
