The Hoshizaki KM1601SRJZ3 ice machine head produces crescent cube style ice using an air-cooled system that utilizes R404A hydrocarbon refrigerant. This unit is constructed of stainless steel to resist rust, corrosion, and dents. Its durable construction can withstand heavy use, and an H-GUARD Plus antimicrobial agent ensures the internal mechanisms stay free of mold and bacteria.

To enable proper air circulation, the Hoshizaki KM1601SRJZ3 ice maker head requires 9 inches of clearance above the unit, at the rear, and on both sides. This item requires a remote condenser and an ice bin to catch and hold produced ice, both of which are sold separately. Under ideal conditions, this unit can produce up to 1,635 pounds of ice every 24 hours.
