This amount depends on ambient air and water conditions, so it can produce more when temperatures are lower. It creates crescent cube ice—a half-cube variety that works well in soft drinks, frozen drinks, and bagged applications. The unit is designed to be cooled remotely and requires a remote condenser that’s sold separately.

This Hoshizaki KMS-1122MLJ crescent cube ice machine head can reduce the number of cycles required to create the same amount of ice as similar models, reducing energy use and load on the components. If there’s an issue with the system, the alert system notifies users with a series of beeps; it uses different beep patterns to diagnose various issues. Antimicrobial agent inside the ice maker inhibits bacterial growth.
