Ice-O-Matic MFI0800A Description
To prevent system failure, the Ice-O-Matic MFI0800A ice maker utilizes a SystemSafe monitoring system that shuts the unit down if errors occur. Preventing damage if they get too low or if water runs out, it also has a water sensor that monitors the water levels. This unit has a stainless steel auger and evaporator to provide durability, and the exterior is made of stainless steel to resist corrosion and rust.
The Ice-O-Matic MFI0800A flake ice machine head is air cooled and self-contained, so it operates by plugging it in. It makes anywhere from 665 to 900 pounds of ice each day depending on environmental conditions, such as ambient temperatures and water temperatures, and because this unit makes flake ice, it’s a popular choice for high-volume areas.
