With its stainless steel and aluminum construction, this True STA1RRT89-1S-1S Spec Series® one-section roll-thru refrigerator resists dents and corrosion. For temperature retention, its walls are insulated with polyurethane foam, and stainless steel ramps help staff roll carts and racks from the back of the house to the front of the house. Its walls are protected from impacts from carts and racks by bumpers. Temperatures are shown on the digital display in Fahrenheit or Celsius, and the interior is illuminated by incandescent lights.

This unit has sealed, self-lubricating fan motors with large fan blades that quickly recover temperatures. Its self-contained capillary tube system holds and regulates the flow of R134A refrigerant, and its refrigeration system—which keeps the interior at a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit—is kept away from the food zone and floor debris since it is top mounted. To properly preserve food, the unit has an extra-large evaporator, a durable compressor, and a large condenser.

Featuring a roll-thru design, this True STA1RRT89-1S-1S one-section refrigerator has two stainless steel doors with metal handles and bolt-style locks that prevent theft and tampering. Both doors can stay open at 120 degrees to facilitate loading and unloading but close on their own to conserve energy when they do not reach this angle. Their magnetic gaskets have a one-piece construction and create an airtight seal.
