Bolt-style locks on the doors prevent unauthorized access, and the magnetic door gaskets are removable for cleaning. For maximized storage space, the reach-in refrigerator has three PVC-coated wire shelves, while LED lighting in the interior adds visibility.

The True STG1R-2HG-HC reach-in refrigerator includes a digital temperature display on the outside that can be read in Fahrenheit or Celsius. To ensure proper heating, the unit temperature ranges from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Maximizing capacity, the top-mount refrigeration system has an evaporator located outside of the food zone. Metering R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, the capillary tube system ensures the unit maintains a consistent temperature, and the refrigeration unit is controlled electronically.

This unit’s compressor fan motor blows in reverse for 20 seconds when it starts up to eliminate any collected dirt, dust, or debris from the condensing coil. This mechanism is designed to reduce energy use, improve the refrigeration system’s efficiency, and keep the storage temperatures as cold and consistent as possible. This reversing fan technology lengthens the lifespan of the unit, but it doesn’t eliminate the need for routine system maintenance.
