The True STR1RPT-1S-1G-HC Spec Series® pass-thru refrigerator enables food to flow from the back to the front of house with doors on both sides. Its front door is solid and made of stainless steel, while its back door is glass. To keep heat out, these doors are lined with magnetic gaskets, and the double-pane glass is thermal insulated. Polyurethane insulation is foamed in the walls, adding structure and slowing heat transfer.

Cooled by the capillary tubes in the refrigeration system, the unit can be set between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. These cold temperatures are achieved by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant flowing through the tubes. To minimize heat produced by the system, evaporator and condenser fans ensure consistent airflow. The temperature can be found on the exterior’s digital display and can be set to read in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

When this unit’s compressor is turned on, its fan motor blows air in an opposite direction to reduce buildup of dust, dirt, and debris on the condensing coil. With daily removal, the coil can operate more efficiently for longer periods without using as much energy. This feature should not replace preventative maintenance practices.

Inside the True STR1RPT-1S-1G-HC pass-thru refrigerator, adjustable shelves support contents. Each shelf is chrome plated for sturdiness with a wire design for improved airflow. For visibility, LED lights shine on products while bolt locks on the doors provide security. Although the doors self-close to keep cold air trapped inside, they stay open past 120 degrees for loading and unloading. Castors enable staff to move the refrigerator to clean underneath, and the door gaskets can be removed for cleaning.
