Refrigerant courses through the capillary tubes, which control the flow. The unit’s evaporator and condenser fans push air consistently so that products are evenly cooled. Instead of staying in one area, air in the cabinet flows through the wire shelves. Since the refrigeration system rests on top, it does not take up interior space. This unit has electronic controls and a digital temperature display.

When this unit’s compressor is turned on, the fan motor blows in a reverse direction for 20 seconds. This mechanism helps remove buildup of dirt and debris from the condensing coil, enabling it to operate more efficiently, using less energy and keeping products at the intended temperature more easily. Preventative maintenance should continue to be incorporated for best results.

The True STR1RPT-2HG-1G-HC pass-thru refrigerator has a durable, rust-resistant stainless steel construction. To add structure, polyurethane insulation is foamed in the walls. Each door is equipped with a bolt lock and a durable metal handle. When staff are stocking items, the doors stay open at 120 degrees, but they will self-close before this point to keep cold air from escaping. To facilitate cleanup, the door gaskets can be removed without tools, and the castors, which have a locking front pair, enable the unit to move so that staff can sweep the floor.
