The dough hook, whip, flat beater and 140-quart bowl are all made of stainless steel, while the unit itself has a steel frame with an enamel finish that facilitates cleaning.

An anti-vibration device reduces noise and movement, and the bowl locks into place to stay still during operation. The Doyon BTL140H planetary mixer has a heavy-duty motor with a slip-resistant belt and overload protection for mixing thick products. It has four stationary casters for transportation.
