The Globe SP40 planetary mixer has an overall size of 25¹/₄ inches wide by 30¹/₂ inches deep by 51¹/₂ inches high. It ships with necessary attachments to ease prepping tasks in back-of-house kitchens, such as an aluminum spiral dough hook, stainless steel whip, and an aluminum beater. The No. 12 attachment hub can fit any compatibly sized vegetable slicer or meat grinder. The hub can reach three fixed speeds of 52, 92, and 190 revolutions per minute, while the planetary shaft with the agitator can reach 74, 132, and 272 revolutions per minute. To operate the 2-horsepower motor, this unit is supplied with gear-driven transmission made of alloy metal capable of withstanding high-volume operation.

To assist operators throughout the business day, the Globe SP40 commercial planetary mixer has a front-placed control panel that offers timer settings; users can set the timer as long as 60 minutes. Employees can easily track the time left using the digital screen. Because it’s made of cast iron, this planetary mixer minimizes most structural abrasions to maintain a high-quality industrial appearance. To remain stable on most commercial kitchen table surfaces, the legs are attached to nonslip rubber feet.
