The unit’s condenser is air cooled, meaning a fan blows air over the coils to cool refrigerant as it moves away from the evaporator plate, freezing water to form cubes.

Cleaning and sanitizing this Ice-O-Matic CIM1136FA ice maker is simple since it has one-touch controls. When cleaning is needed, an LED indicator light illuminates to notify the operator. The food zone—which houses the parts that come in contact with ice and water—is made of easy-to-clean plastic without cracks or crevices.
