These Cordierite stone decks hold heat well and absorb excess moisture to create crisp crusts. Products can sit directly on the decks, or on screens, sheets, or pans that are sold separately. Resisting scratches and temperature shock, the oven interior is aluminized steel. Its exterior is stainless steel to resist corrosion and facilitate cleaning.

In the Bakers Pride P44S deck oven, temperatures range from 300 to 650 degrees Fahrenheit, and the two baking chambers are controlled separately for energy efficiency. Cook times are tracked by two 15-minute timers that ring continuously when they reach zero to prevent burning foods. This timer must be turned off manually. When grabbing food, the tubular handles provide a firm grip, and doors swing down for compartment access.
