The True STR1RPT-1G-1G-HC Spec Series® pass-thru refrigerator is constructed of stainless steel, which provides rust and scratch protection. For insulation, polyurethane is foamed in the walls, and magnetic gaskets line the doors. Each door includes a bolt-style lock and is made of thermal-insulated, double-pane glass, which provides visibility and retains cold air. LED lights illuminate chilled product, while wire shelves promote airflow.

A refrigeration system is installed on top of the True STR1RPT-1G-1G-HC pass-thru refrigerator to free up space inside. Cooling components are built together in one place to simplify maintenance. Cold temperatures, which can be set anywhere from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, are maintained by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant running through the capillary tubes. The condenser and evaporator fan motors work consistently to produce little heat and use little energy. To check the temperature, employees can look at the exterior digital display.

Designed to maintain the condensing coil’s function for longer periods, the unit inclues a self-automated cleaning function. When the compressor is turned on, its condensing fan motor blows air in an opposite direction to help remove buildup on the coil’s surface. Though it is a consistent mechanism, preventive maintenance should continue to be implemented to ensure the coil is working properly.

Since it has a pass-thru design, this unit’s interior can be accessed from the front and back. To prevent excessive cold-air loss, both doors close on their own. These doors can stay open past 120 degrees, so employees can load product with both hands. To support quick cleanup, the refrigerator has castors that enable movement and provide access underneath. Its one-piece door gaskets can be removed without additional tools.
