The True TS-23G-2-HC~FGD01 reach-in refrigerator has a mostly stainless steel construction that resists corrosion, scratches, and dents while two left-hinged, glass half doors and LED lights increase visibility. Product is stored on three PVC-coated shelves that can be adjusted or removed to store tall items. Its stainless steel floor wipes clean and is raised because the condenser sits underneath it. This bottom-mounted design also means items can be stored on top of the refrigerator without interfering with operation.

Since the self-contained refrigeration system is mounted on the bottom, it is within reach for maintenance, and its evaporator is coated in rust-resistant epoxy for protection. The True TS-23G-2-HC~FGD01 one-section refrigerator maintains internal temperatures with R290 refrigerant and a capillary tubes system. Foods are kept between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, which can be checked on the unit’s digital display. Its evaporator and condenser fans move cold air around the interior, cooling product evenly. For cold air retention, the cabinet is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, while magnetic gaskets around the doors prevent cold air leaks.

Engineered to work in tandem with preventative maintenance, the reverse condensing fan motor blows in an opposite direction for 20 seconds when the compressor is turned on. This helps remove buildup of unwanted dirt and dust on the condensing coil so it can work for longer periods and with less energy.
